 The Capital Safety Group comprises three major global names in height safety – Sala, Protecta and Rollgliss. Back in 1942 the original Sala retractable block was designed and manufactured, since when the company has continued to be a worldwide innovator of height safety solutions.
The three brands were brought together under the Capital Safety banner in 1998, controlling product development teams and manufacturing plants in the US, Europe, Asia and Australasia. The company now employs 600 staff worldwide.
Personal height safety equipment:
Protecta and Sala provide a comprehensive range of fully approved height safety and confined spaces safety products. These include full body harnesses, belts and shock absorbing lanyards, plus a wide range of self-retracting lifelines. Confined space equipment includes Rollgliss winches and rescue devices. The new Exofit range of body harnesses was launched worldwide in 2003 and has earned the reputation as the most comfortable range of harnesses on the market today.
Fixed height safety systems:
Sala and Protecta have produced innovative fixed height safety systems for nearly 40 years. Sayfglida, Lad-Saf, Rail-Lok and Ariana are all installed in many of the world’s most prestigious buildings. The combined talent and experience of Sala and Protecta’s design teams has recently culminated in the launch of Evolution, the very latest technology in ‘installed horizontal safety systems’. A versatile range of vertical fixed safety systems continued to be developed and improved, incorporating exciting new concepts for moving safety at height.
